What kind of a musical hotbed would Brattleboro be without a monthly pub sing hosted by our own Tony Barrand, Amanda Witman, Paul Eric Smith, and friends?
Joiin us every fourth Saturday from 3-5pm at McNeill’s Brewery on Elliot Street for pub songs and other such delights.
Come listen, sing along, or even lead a song or two. Songs led from memory with easily joined-in choruses are the norm here. Pub songs, work songs, sea shanties, and other traditional songs are welcome.
The pub has some very excellent local brews on tap, as well as cider and seltzer and other fine imbibements, and food is available as well. All ages are welcome in the pub
Come join us! For more information, 802-257-5648 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
*In January, come partake of the Northern Roots Festival, of which this pub sing is a part. In May, watch the Marlboro Morris Ale and take in the singing that is a part of that annual festival.
Please note that the pub is not officially handicap-accessible, but that doesn’t stop Tony, so don’t let it stop you, either. Let us know if you need particular accommodations and we’ll do our best.
Note from the organizers:
Friends, our pub sing schedule is highly consistent: The FOURTH SATURDAY of EVERY MONTH from 3-5 pm, with a few extremely reliable exceptions (below). If you run into misinformation, PLEASE email a link to email@example.com so we can stamp it out!
January — double check the time each year, as the pub sing is part of the Northern Roots Festival schedule. In recent years this has meant 1:00-2:20. If the festival falls on the 5th Saturday, we sing then AND on the 4th as usual.
May — we meet on the 3rd Saturday at the usual time instead of the 4th Saturday to accommodate the Marlboro Morris Ale
Christmas Eve – we always have an extra pub sing at the usual time, regardless of the day of week
Mark your calendar confidently in advance. The schedule is firm!
