Gallery Walk is back and The Walk is the crown jewel! We are guessing that you have missed the monthly gallery exhibit experience just as much as Brattleboro’s galleries have missed you.

Epsilon Spires, Gallery in the Woods, Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery, Brattleboro Museum & Art Center, Mitchell•Giddings Fine Arts, Vermont Artisan Designs, Harmony Collective, River Gallery School of Art, 118 Elliot, Wheelhouse Clay Center, First Proof Press and Insight Photography. Quite the collection!

You are invited to create joyful places together through Pop-Up Art Stations around town during Gallery Walk.  Our themed stations will focus on involvement and connection with all who join in. Let’s bring art into the streets!

Do you have an original song, poem, short story, or joke you’ve been dying to try out on an audience? Let your voice be heard!

The line-up for Pop-Up Art Stations:

July: Step Up to the Mic- Do you have an original song, poem, short story, or joke you’ve been dying to try out on an audience? Arrive early to sign-up for your spot in the lineup.

August: Game On!- We’ll have your favorite oversized board games around town. Have an idea for a game? Bring it along and try it out on some willing players.

September: Technicolor Town- Let’s make our town colorful! Have you ever had an idea of how to make a spot in our downtown more vibrant, engaging, playful, and just plain cool?

October: Eye See You, Brattleboro- Together let’s tell the bigger story of the people and places of our town. Through all media, let’s create a collective self-portrait of Brattleboro.

May: What’s the Word? – After a long year of separation, we’ll honor & celebrate with words through art, poetry, games and love notes.

June: Let’s Move!- Let’s shake off the long year in our homes, and dance, circus, and move in the streets. Learn a few moves or a whole new dance.

The Market

Experience the latest iteration of Brattleboro’s beloved makers’ market, known as the Main Street Flea, in its current locale on the west side of Harmony Lot. This specialty bazaar will feature the handmade wares and magic of local artists, makers, collectors. The Market will feature a wide array of unique and eclectic offerings including ceramics, jewelry, spells, prints, cards, natural medicinals, home goods, vintage, hand-printed and dyed fabrics, and much, much more!

The event is Rain or Shine! If raining the Main St. Flea Makers Pop-up will be located in High & Green hallway and A Vermont Table dining room. There will be a Cash Bar.

While The Stone Church eagerly anticipates welcoming revelers back into their sanctuary, their crew will be bringing music to the street every Gallery Walk 6:30-8:00 pm with an All-Star line-up of some Brattleboro’s finest musical artists!

May: M.O.D. (Molly On Drums)- Funk, soul, jazz, hip hop, and R & B

5:00-6:00 Zara Bode’s Little Big Band – swing dancing in the streets
6:30-8:00 Thus Love- Queerwave, goth rock, hometown heartbreakers

July: Slim Pickin’s- hard-driving, high lonesome, modern bluegrass

August: Moxie- Effervescent. Soulful. Danceable. Indie Pop Rock

September: DiTrani Bros

October: The Gaslight Tinkers- Global rhythms, traditional New England old-time and Celtic fiddle, with melody and song

Street food will be available from Hazel Restaurant, Thai Hut, Ben’s Juice, Salt & Lime food truck, Whetstone Beer Truck and The Stone Church!
